I founded Amanda Busing Designs to help families create timeless, functional homes that support the way they live every day. I believe the best interiors are built on thoughtful planning, intentional details, and a collaborative design process that brings each client’s vision to life. Safer home options are also a passion of mine so I have experience souring options that provide safer options for your family, My passion began with our first home which migrated to our rental properties and building our personal family home from start to finish. I love helping families find timeless options that will be lived in from the infant stage to teenage years to retirement.

Thoughtful Design From the Start

Every successful project begins with careful planning. We collaborate closely with homeowners, builders, and trade professionals to ensure every design decision is intentional—from space planning and architectural details to materials, furnishings, and finishing touches.

1. Discovery

Every project begins with getting to know you, your family, and how you envision living in your home. We’ll discuss your goals, lifestyle, inspiration, budget, and timeline to create a clear design direction from the start.

We encourage clients to bring us into the project as early as possible. Being involved from the beginning allows us to collaborate with your architect and builder, helping ensure every design decision—from floor plans to final furnishings—works together seamlessly.

2. Designs & Planning

With a thoughtful plan in place, we develop layouts, material selections, cabinetry, lighting, finishes, and architectural details. Every decision is made intentionally to ensure your home is both beautiful and functional.

3. Collaboration

We work closely with your builder, architect, and trade professionals throughout construction to help ensure the design is executed as envisioned. Our goal is to provide clarity, guidance, and confidence throughout the building process.

4. Furnishings & Styling

As construction nears completion, we curate furnishings, rugs, artwork, and accessories that bring warmth, personality, and balance to your home.

5. Installation & Reveal

The final layer is bringing everything together. From furniture placement to the finishing touches, we create a home that feels complete, welcoming, and ready to be enjoyed.
